Could you be RJF’s next intern?

RJF Public Affairs is a small but growing public affairs agency based in Birmingham.
We have an opening for a paid internship as a Research Assistant at our city centre office, starting immediately.
The role would suit a recent graduate in politics, social policy, media or similar.
Responsibilities include monitoring local and national political issues, researching specific policy areas and providing support for a whole range of our activities, from event delivery to the preparation of green papers.
Specific tasks include collating information on political issues, organisations and people, managing databases, managing our websites and social media accounts, and some general office admin. There will also be the opportunity to write for our political blog, The Chamberlain Files.
Our ideal intern is as much of a politics geek as we are, lives and breathes current affairs, can fly a PC to the moon and back and makes a mean cuppa. You have to be sociable, inquisitive, supremely confident and exceptionally hard-working. It is essential that you have excellent written English.
We will pay £250 per week for a five-day week, on an initial internship of three months. We want to turn this into a full time permanent role in line with our business growth plans, so this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
To apply, email marc.reeves@rjfpa.com, telling us why you’re perfect for this role and including a two-page CV. The deadline is March 15.
